The Hyundai Veloster N is the only trim available in North America for 2022. We're seeing if there's still a market for a small sports car like this, and why you might want to consider it.

We haven't driven the Hyundai Veloster before, so getting behind the wheel of their first N-Car in North America has been a nice treat. Now being the only trim level sold in Canada, our MSRP comes in just under $40,000.00 CAD, very much in line with the new Volkswagen GTI. Does this Veloster N live up to the expectations set by Hyundai with the launch of their own in-house performance sub-brand? We go over some of our thoughts on this car as we drive in the winter.

We discuss the shape and design of the Veloster N along with how it compares to some of the other compact vehicles we've driven over the years. We talk about the interior with the new N light weight sport seats, 8" infotainment system, and how usable the rear seat and trunk spaces are.

We then take the 2022 Hyundai Veloster N on a winter road test to talk about how this car drives, rides, and performs, along with the winter tire specifications and our overall fuel economy test results.
