0:56 – Question 1: What is Cultured Stone?
Made with polyester resin and is similar to how Corian and solid surface bases are made.

1:30 – Question 2: Can you get low/no barrier bases?
There are 3 different curb sizes you can choose from – low profile 1 ½”, mid height profile 2 ½”, and a standard curb height 5”. A ramp can always be added to these shower bases at any time.

2:22 – Question 3: Is it slippery?
With the texture at the bottom of all the solid surface bases, it has one of the best anti slip bottoms.

2:48 – Question 4: Is it heavy?
Absolutely! You are going to want help when you are installing this base.

3:11 – Question 5: Can you get custom sizes?
Solid Surface and cultured stone bases are customizable.

3:45 – Question 6: Are they expensive?
This is a very reasonably price product. While it may not be as cheap as tile, you will be saving the money when it comes to installing this product.

In the high gloss finish, there are 55 different color options available. While there is not as many options in the matte finish, you still have a wide variety of options to choose from.

5:07 – Question 8: Is it outdated?
Yes and no. While some cultured stone companies still use ‘rounded’ molds, other manufacturers are creating a textured stone shower pan. This comes in white and matte black with stone, slate and even a wood finish.

5:50 – Question 9: What kind of wall panels can I use?
With a grout free base, you will more than likely want a grout free wall panel system. You can get a solid surface or cultured stone wall panels system. However, we do offer an even sharper line which is the waterproof laminated wall panel system.
