Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds and the pious, may the blessings and peace of Allah be upon our master Muhammad and upon his family and all his companions. I’lamû ayyuhe’l-ihvân enne afdale’l-kitâbi kitâbullâh enne afdale’l-hedyi hedyu Muhammadin sallallahu aleyhi wa sallam wa sharrel-umûri muhdesâtuhâ ve kulle muhdesin bid’ah ve kulle bid’atin dalâlah ve kulle dalâlatin fi’n-nâr ve bi’s-sanedil muttasili ile’n-nebiyyi sallallahu aleyhi wa sallama annahu kâl:

Innî la-a’lemu kalimat lâ yakûluhâ makrûbün illa farracellâhu azze wa jalla anhu

I know a word that whoever recites it, Allah Almighty will remove all his troubles from him. Makrûb. This is the kalimat ahî yûnuse. This is the word that Yunus (peace be upon him) said. Fe-nâdâ fi’z-zulümâti. Among these darknesses, one is the darkness in the belly of the fish, and the other is the darkness in the sea. It is both closed inside the sea and closed in the belly of the fish. He says this because it is the darkness inside the darkness. There, he recited the prayer to Almighty God, en lâ ilâhe illa ente sunhâneke innî kuntu mine’z-zalimîne, and thanks to this prayer, Almighty God expelled him from there.

This is an incident that happened, Almighty God the Almighty informs us.

They went fishing in a ship. These big fish caught whale fish somewhere with the ship. They saw that those men were probably coming to land. Apparently, they were resting there. They immediately lowered their boats. But when they saw these, they dived into the sea and were going to escape. An animal hit a tail in the sea and overturned one of the boats. When it overturned, the crew in the boat fell into the sea. Of course they knew how to swim, after all, one of them was lost and the others were saved. They looked for their lost brother, they searched for him and found him. Well, they said, whatever happened, but they also caught the fish. There was no ship, they took the fish on the ship, they started swimming, but who knows how much time passed. They started swimming and so on, they also cut open his stomach and saw that the poor man was inside his stomach. Allah, who hides, has hidden this here as well. Just like He hid Yunus.

I had written about this in the newspaper and cut it out. Maybe it has been a year, maybe not. I read this incident there.

So it is the power of God Almighty. Then they took the poor man out. He was revived with massage, massage and treatments, he did not die.

He told the story, they asked how he was?

He says, how do I know, I dived from there, as soon as I dived, I passed through a strait between two rocks. I went inside, I looked everywhere inside, there was a soft, soft place, I couldn't find a place to get out. While he was waiting inside helplessly, he says, let's see what will happen, he fainted there.

But when this [fish] was caught, the man was saved from there.

Therefore, this word, lâ ilâhe illa ante sunhaneke innî kuntu mine'z-zalimîne, is a very blessed word. It is a tawhid, a tasbih and a dhikr. If you recite it forty times between the fard and sunnah of the morning prayer, surely Allah Almighty will remove all the troubles of everyone from that man because of this tasbih prayer. When we are in trouble, we look for solutions, and this solution is the greatest solution.

Then let me tell you something else. We sit here in the mornings, for example. It doesn't take an hour, we are busy with our prayers until the time of Ishraq. We also perform our Ishraq prayer and then leave. This is not a form of worship. We have nothing to boast about. We cannot boast about it. If we do it incompletely, the punishment is severe. But whether we do it completely or not, it is a divine command. We are obliged to do it, we are authorized. We have no right to boast.

But I would say that we have the right to boast about the voluntary worships other than that, but it is not right, but a person can boast. Look, even though I am not obliged, I could go home in the morning and sleep. You would not say anything to me either, O Lord. You would not say, but because of the love of the Messenger of Allah and your love, I abandon this sleep. Because between that morning prayer and the time of Ishraq, again, as our Master says, Allah loves the person who is busy with worship very much. He loves very much, and it causes love. Because it is the means to this love [it is very valuable.] Everything needs a means. When you bring me a gift, I am forced to love you. If I give it to you, you love me too.
