so house bill 2005 is oregons way of forcing you to serialize your firearms and prevent you from making your own "parts" yet senate bill 1596 is saying that you as a consumer should have the ability to make fix and repair your own consumer goods. what is going on do we get the freedom to make and build what we want or just what they want us to repair and build. sb1596 is supposed to be ground breaking which it is good. no longer are we at the mercy of having to send it off to the Corp. for fixes and yes I do know that this sb is not for firearms. it just feels really weird.
