I show you how to replace the 2 bearings, the brushes and the slip rings on a Bosch alternator which comes from a BMW 528i E39. To do that I need to remove the pulley and to open the alternator. I do this operation because the alternator makes noise when it works.
I use a simple vise to remove and refit the parts.
Moreover I show you how to test the alternator on the workbench out of the car.
