This is the last video that I’ll be making for this fantasy map and worldbuilding series.
Last week I went to Broad Canvas, a small independently run art shop here in Oxford. My youngest daughter has moved out and started uni, so (naturally) all of my paintbrushes disappeared from our house. I bought new brushes and also a dip pen and ink.
I’ve never used a dip pen before, so I’m a complete beginner, but I must say I really like it. It’s harder to use, but the line work is much more varied and I hope that with practice, I will become better at using it. (Also, I get to channel my inner Victorian gentlelady and pretend that I belong in a different time and world.)
** A massive thank you to Broad Canvas! **
Broad Canvas is a wonderful and independent art supplies shop located here in Oxford.
They were very kind and let me film their shop. Their shop assistants are super-nice and know so much about art supplies it’s amazing!
