Come visit our European service shop in Roswell, GA: https://wolfpen.com/

This Porsche 911 GTS came in for some very basic maintenance and with a handling issue causing the stability control to intervene in odd situations, but what our process uncovered was truly wild. A simple valve stem replacement revealed Porsche center lock wheels that had been over torqued, incorrect Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires on the rear wheels, and refurbished and repaired Porsche wheels being passed off as new Porsche wheels. In the automotive service industry, it is not uncommon to uncover instances of malpractice and dishonesty, which is precisely why Wolfpen was founded in the first place. The goal of Wolfpen is to provide top quality automotive service with integrity and attention to detail, and it's this attention to detail in the automotive repair space that uncovers bad actors. This customer not only loves his Porsche 911 GTS, but he also drives his Porsche 911 GTS, and improper automotive car and maintenance sidelined his 911 GTS for months while we worked through the various issues that kept popping up. On top of that, the other automotive shop was slow to make good on the proper parts, which caused his Porsche to sit in our auto shop waiting for parts and labor without making forward progress. Since we've opened our garage, we've had a number of performance cars come in the doors with similar automotive issues, from over torqued Porsche center locks on this 911 GTS and a Porsche 911 GT3, to incorrect parts being provided on a Porsche Cayman GTS for a AC repair, to a mysterious engine cooling issue on a Porsche Cayman GT4 (and another one on a Porsche Cayman race car that ended up being a filler cap). We've discovered rags left in Porsche engine bays, incorrect exhaust fasteners being used on Mustang GT 500s, and we've dealt with the world's most difficult to mount and balance tires (on a 2019 Corvette ZR1). Each and every time, the positive feedback we get from customers pushes us to provide better automotive service and treat them the way we'd want someone to treat us. We're just getting started with our automotive shop, and there are plenty more stories to tell -- some far more positive and some somewhat negative like this one. We hope you'll join us as we explore some of the stories behind the cars that pull into the garage for service, and if you're in the north Atlanta area, we hope you'll give us a try.
