Hey everyone this is a video of my way of making a 5 gallon bucket biological swirl filter made out of dollar store sponges and scrubbers and 1/2 inch PVC pipe all for under $20 ... Materials I used

1 - 5 gallon bucket (food grade safe)
2 - lid for 5 gallon bucket (sealable)
3 - dollar store .. trash can type basket to hold up media
4 - 1/2 inch PVC (about a foot an a half should do cut to size
5 - 2 - 45's 1/2 inch ...for the swirl
6 - T 1/2 & 1 - 1/2 inch straight pipe to pipe
7 - 1 1/2 pipe connect Modified for spouse
8 - For the drain I used a 1/2 inch pipe connector with the cap off 1 side thread that into bucket and a 1/2 inch ball value to flush muck

THE PUMP I USED - POND BOSS ..525 GALLONS PER HOUR
