During recent days I have noticed again that my life can become incredibly busy, juggling tasks back to back or even at the same time; eating, reading, watching something on the television - going one hundred miles an hour. It can be a similar story in my mind which has been busy with sad or anxious thoughts over the last few weeks.
I decided to slow down a bit by re-potting a rose from my garden mindfully, to help me be more in the present moment. This rose cutting has been outside all winter and I chose to re-pot it because it reminded me that resilience and new life can grow from times of hardship.
