I've messed around with solar power on my own quite a lot! First at my off grid cabin where I lived for about 5 years, then on my van - where I'm living right now! This is MY METHOD of installing a flexible panel to the van roof, you may have a better one - cool! This way is just super cheap, straight forward, fast and easy! And about a week in now, no issues. I WOULD recommend using silicone around the screws when you’re done.
