Twister is a 1996 film produced by Steven Spielberg, directed by Jan de Bont, and starring Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton. It was based on a script by Michael Crichton and his wife Anne-Marie Martin. It premiered on May 10, 1996, in the United States. Additionally, the standalone sequel, titled Twisters (2024), was released with new characters and is set 28 years after the events of the first film.

Twisters is an American film directed by Lee Isaac Chung from a script by Mark L. Smith. Produced by Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley, it is described as a "new chapter" of the 1996 film Twister. The film stars Daisy Edgar-Jones, Glen Powell, Anthony Ramos, Maura Tierney, Brandon Perea, Daryl McCormack, Sasha Lane, Kiernan Shipka, and Nik Dodani.
