When Anthony Edwards entered the NBA, it was easy for me to view him as a future star. He was the number 1 pick in the 2020 NBA draft, and the number 2 prospect on my big board. He had every tool you look for in a star shooting guard and then some. Athleticism, physicality, shot creation intangibles, all of it. But even though I thought Edwards had a ton of upside, he’s completely shattered my expectations. He’s gone from a high upside prospect, to a rising star, to one of the best players in the world in just four NBA seasons. The sky is truly the limit with Ant. He can be as great as he wants to be. And the scary part is, he wants to be the best.
