Ben Huff shared pictures from several long-term projects. He discussed how projects start, the process of working on a new project, how projects evolve, and making books. He also shared new pictures from an ongoing project, The Light That Got Lost.

Ben Huff is an artist and photographer from the Midwest, who moved to Alaska in 2005, and currently calls Juneau home.
His work explores the exploited landscapes of Alaska, what we value, and what we bring to the space.

Ben was awarded a Rasmuson Fellowship in 2016 and has received grants from the Alaska Humanities Forum, Alaska Council for the Arts, Juneau Economic Council, and the Connie Bouchiver Award to continue work on long-term projects. He was an artist-in-residence at Lightwork in Syracuse New York in 2014.
His first monograph, The Last Road North, was published by Kehrer Verlag in 2015. He has published two artist books with his imprint Ice Fog Press. His most recent book was published by Fw:Books in 2022.

He is currently working on a long-term project on the Juneau Icefield and its surrounding glaciers.
