The countdown 2024 fireworks display at Sarawak Legislative Assembly Building opposite the Waterfront and the official launching of the Southeast Asia tallest flag pole - Sarawak Flag Pole. Both happens on the countdown event on the 2023-2024 cross midnight, attracting several thousand people gathering at the Kuching Waterfront watching the amazing Fireworks and Light Show.

Sarawak's state flag has been named Ibu Pertiwi.
