Today I am sharing
traditional recipe of
shepuche pithle or
dill leaves curry
It is healthy and nutritious
side dish suitable for chapati,
jowar,bajra roti and steamed
rice
try it..

Ingredients:

. 2 palmful shepu
(sowa or dill leaves)

. 1/4 - 1/2 cup besan
(gram flour) as per
requirement

. Chopped green chilly
(as per taste)

. Chopped coriander leaves

. 2 tbsp peanut

. 2 -3 tbsp oil

. 1 tsp crushed garlic

. turmeric powder

. mustard seeds

. cumin seeds

. salt
(as per taste)

Method:

. Clean and wash shepu
properly.

. Chop it.

. Transfer shepu in pressure
cooker.

. Add 2 & 1/2 cup water.

. Add peanut,green chilly.

. Close lid and allow to
pressure cook it on
medium flame only
for 1 whistle.

. When cooked properly,
step by step add besan
(gram flour) as per requirement

. Mix it properly to avoid lumps.

. Heat oil in a pan.

. Add mustard and cumin seeds
and allow to crackle it.

. Add crushed garlic and saute
it till turns light brown.

. Add turmeric powder and
pressure cooked shepu besan
mixture.

. Add little water if required,
and stir it continuously on
medium flame till
mixture starts boiling.

. When mixture started boiling
add salt and mix it.

. Cover with lid and allow
to on low flame for 5 - 7 minutes.

. When cooked properly,
switch off flame.

. Lastly add chopped
coriander leaves and mix it.

. Shepuche pithle is ready.

. Enjoy hot with chapati,
jowar or bajra roti,steamed
rice by pouring peanut oil.
