In this new podcast, Paul goes behind the curtain with Invictus Theatre Company’s founding artistic director, Charlse Askenaizer, with a look at the mission and plays of this great theater company. This is a theater company committed to making a difference in our community.
Just consider the current season with past productions of: Topdog, Underdog; Three Sisters and the upcoming “Network” (you know, “I’m as mad as hell and I’m not gonna take it anymore”), and MacBeth (always a traditional Shakespeare play as part of the season.
Invictus seeks to create theatre that promotes a better understanding of language: its poetry, its rhythm, its resonance, through diverse works by diverse artists.
Founded in 2017, Invictus will do great things in Chicago for many years to come…..
