In late August we headed up to northern Minnesota for our first Boundary Waters experience. Upon completing the 13+ hour drive from Metro-Detroit, we were met with an incredibly fulfilling and memorable journey. Along the way we endure low water obstacles but are rewarded with magnificent landscapes and remarkable fishing. Videos will be released in a multi-part series format, airing each Thursday at 7pm EST.

In this third episode we wake up next to Lower Basswood Falls and travel to a new site on Crooked Lake. We endure some strong headwinds, but are blessed with the experience of seeing native pictographs and hook into some great fishing. We really enjoyed the fresh walleye meals! This section of the trip was a real highlight.
