Hunting Apple Trees for Deer , is it good or bad ?

I would have to say apple trees by your food plots as an accent to help complement your food plot are a great thing, but just planting trees and relying on their fruit may have you come up short during the hunting season. Take a look at this giant apple tree that’s right on the edge of my food plot. There are no apples in it already on the second day of the bow season. This tree is not gonna help me hold deer in this area without fruit now; compared to my food plot that’s green and lush holding deer every day at this point in my hunting season
