Have you ever received a Stripe payment notification and wished that you could share that information with teammates automatically? Or send the information to other apps or sources?

In this video, I will show you can use Zapier to send information about a Stripe payment anywhere you want. Our trigger event will be a new payment in Stripe. Our zap will trigger when a customer completes a new payment in Stripe. First, we set up our Stripe payment link and then add our trigger event.

Once our trigger is working, I’ll show you how we can send information about our stripe transaction to a colleague over slack and over Gmail. We will map the following fields from Stripe to the ‘body’ field in Gmail and ‘message text’ field in slack:

Customer Name
Charge Billing Details Email
Amount
Created Formatted
Status
Charge ID

Now whenever we get a new payment in our stripe account this information will automatically be sent via an email and slack message to whoever we want. You can substitute Gmail/slack with other apps and send this information wherever you want i.e. aeratable, google sheets, discord, ring central, monday.com etc.
