Historical Info:
A specialized heavy tank was designed as part of the "border cover tanks" concept for operations in mountainous terrain. This project focused on strengthening the frontal protection of the turret and hull. Additional armor plates were installed on the turret, and the upper frontal plate of the hull was made in the form of a "pike nose". A low-ballistic rifled gun of 180 mm caliber with a powerful high-explosive shell was chosen as armament. The ammunition was placed in a mechanized ammunition stowage in the rear niche of the turret. Work on the project did not go beyond the sketches, since the need for this class of equipment disappeared.
