Walking in the steps of my ancestors in Grand Marais, as I do the obligatory dipping of the feet into Lake Superior! It is cold!!! Started with some chamomile tea at Caribou Cafe, a new favorite, and went on a tour of the Split Rock Lighthouse. We went to Tettegouche State Park in the afternoon to hike and watch some beautiful waterfalls. Ended the day with some ice cream and watched a 1000-foot ship enter the port.
