Today on 14th of September, A Road safety Awareness Campaign cum Birthday Celebration of Late Sanju Tasing was successfully conducted and organised by the family members and friends of Lt. Sanju Tasing as part of his birthday Celebration at Riba Canteen Charali, of Pasighat, with the theme “𝙬𝙚𝙖𝙧 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙢𝙚𝙩, 𝙞𝙩 𝙨𝙖𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚” 𝙍𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙨𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙩 , 𝙬𝙚𝙖𝙧 𝙖 𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙢𝙚𝙩, 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙮 𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙚”.

During the campaign the family members along with Katem Moyong, Nini Dupak, Samuel Darang, Henry Siram & all the friends and the best wishers of Lt. Sanju Tasing distributed more than 550 helmets to the all person’s passing through the highway without Helmet.
They also donated a Godrej (wardrove) to Seed Children’s Home also known Child Care Institute, which is a orphanage, located in Yapgo Village, East Siang District (A.P). As claimed by the friends group, they will also be donating a Godrej at Dying Ering Memorial Govt. Hr. Sec. School Pasighat, as a token of memory because Late Sanju Tasing did his schooling from Dying Ering Memorial Govt. Hr. School.
Late Tasing was from Sika Tode Village of East Siang District and was born on 14th of September 1987, who tragically left us in a highway mishap, on 3rd of September last, 2023. His charismatic and supportive nature truly touched the sentiment of all who knew him.
Meanwhile talking to this daily, Nini Dupak a friend of Late Sanju, conveyed to the public that “it won’t cost a fortune to buy a helmet, rather it will cost a fortune if you’re laying in ICU Chamber with severe head injury.”
Along with family members & friends of Late Sanju Tasing and all the attendees, Takop Yosung the Officer in Charge of Traffic Police, Pasighat with his team also showed their cooperation. Where the OC requested “not only to the helmet receiver’s of today’s campaign, but to all the public to wear a helmet and take care of their safety, and also not to use cell phones while driving.”
Further, the campaign was not only a mere reminder of the importance of road safety but also reflected the deep love and respect they have for their Lt. friend Sanju Tasing.
