WHY AND HOW DO WE DO IT?

Whether it is 10 combs or 6 combs, if all the middle combs of the brooding floor of your hives are filled with closed brood and broods begin to appear in the wall combs and the nurse bees surround all these combs with closed broods and the ones that have emerged and will be released no longer fit into the hive; The bee sews breasts to escape to the swarm. To prevent this, it is necessary to coat the hive before the bee gets stuck. Likewise, in order to get more honey during the season, we must increase the bee population and ensure that the number of field bees enters the season at the highest level. At the same time, we need to prepare sufficient honeycomb cells on the upper floors before the honey flow starts, which will convert the nectar brought by the field worker bees, whose population we will increase, into honey and store it. On the other hand, during periods when the weather reaches high temperatures, bees try to ventilate by air conditioning in front of the hive in order to reduce the temperature inside the hive and cool the baby bees. In order to ease the ventilation inside the hive, to enable the nectar-bringing bees to move easily and quickly within the hive, to keep the working areas of the bees that will build honeycombs wide, to prevent the bees from intending to swarm by solving the problem of getting stuck, and to create a safe upper area against plunder in the hive. gap layer laying methods can be used. As a practice, I prefer not to layer in the early spring and to divide the bees that come to the floor. On the other hand, when we reach mid-May, the day and night temperatures increase; I prefer to layer with the 7-8, 7-8-9, 7-8-9-10 methods (provided that it is done when the temperatures rise). When I apply this type of coat, I prefer to open the bottom of the hives (just like in nature). Although the queen bee usually goes upstairs and throws offspring; After the layering process, the queen bee can throw offspring to the lower and upper layers. This issue should be kept under control and you can use the hive's floors as a holistic support hive by taking the combs with brood from the upper floor to the lower floor and the closed brood from the lower floor to the upper floor, thus keeping the combs where the queen will raise her offspring constantly alive and ready. Until the honey flow starts and you put the queen bee screen, then the brood and drones should not be left on the upper floor anymore. If layering is done in early spring, all hatchlings, both in the lower hatchery and the upper layer, should be wrapped and kept warm and not caught cold. As summer approaches and temperatures reach 30-35 degrees, on the contrary, circulation spaces should be left inside the hive without wrapping the ventilation in a relaxing way. Another benefit of working by laying floors with margins is that the carbon dioxide released by the bees increases as it descends from the top and is at its maximum level on the bottom floor, and therefore the most space is established here in order to keep the oxygen level of the hatchery high.

I wish everyone a fruitful season.
