11th Jan 2022 - The final winter climbing and coaching day of a four day private winter mountaineering and climbing course with summer trad climbers Josh and Dom in the Cairngorms.
The routes in the video are on Cnap Coire na Spreidhe and are the well protected Hookers Wide Chimney 35m Grade III,4 on Pinnacle Buttress. We then abbed back down from the pinnacle col and finished up a desperate poorly protected line just right of the Torr Buttress and Flake Chimney called Right Flake Groove, 35m Grade IV,5 though in decent snow conditions with hard neve it's much easier and probably around IV,4, though still with limited isosteric gear!
