In this video I'm going to show you how to connect your 6505MH to your audio interface using the FX loop and hence being able to use whatever IR you like.

Step 1: Use the speaker enable/defeat switch. So press this button to SPEAKER DEFEAT. NOW IT IS VERY IMPORTANT AND THIS IS ACCORDING TO THE PRODUCTS MANUAL to use this feature if the amp is used without a cabinet connected to the speaker output. So disconnect you amp from the cabinet.

Step 2: connect your guitar cable to your amplifiers FX loop send output to your audio interface input.

Step 3: set your amplifiers volume levels to low, i.e. 2. and of course the audio interface level to zero.

Thats it. Connect your guitar to your amplifier as usual, load you DAW and then select the input source to your sounds card input where you’ve connected the cable that goes into the fx loop - in my case its input no1. Load in your DAW the Impulse response you want to use. I will use two notes torpedo.
