Welcome to my space! In today’s vlog, We are going to the UK’s most beautiful island, Isle of Wight. This is a 3 days road trip and this is Day 2 vlog, I give you more information about our visit to The NEEDLES in Isle of Wight and take the ride down on a chairlift to the perfectly picturesque beach with red, orange, yellow stones all around. Then take a boat ride up close the Needles. Don’t miss the bus ride to the Battery park on the cliff of Alum Bay and the World War Military base along with the Tip of the cliff and its searchlight spot from the tunnel. This is one of the best places to be in Isle of Wight for sure!

We finally end the day at a private beach in our Resort, ‘Thorness bay Holiday Park’.

What about the Isle of Wight? What is it?

The Isle of Wight is a county and the largest and second-most populous island in England. It is in the English Channel, about 2 miles (3.2 km) off the coast of Hampshire, separated by the Solent. The island has resorts that have been holiday destinations since Victorian times.

The quickest public transport link to the mainland is the hovercraft from Ryde to Southsea; three ferry and two catamaran services cross the Solent to Southampton, Lymington and Portsmouth.


What about The NEEDLES?

The Needles are a row of three stacks of chalk that rise about 30 metres (98 ft) out of the sea off the western extremity of the Isle of Wight in the English Channel, United Kingdom.
The Needles Lighthouse stands at the outer end of the formation.
Scenic boat trips operate from Alum Bay that offer close-up views of the Needles. The rocks and lighthouse have become icons of the Isle of Wight.

The main tourist attractions of the headland itself are the two gun batteries, the experimental rocket testing station, and the four coastguard cottages owned by the National Trust.
A chairlift operates between the park and the beach.
The Needles were a site of a long-standing artillery battery, from the 1860s to 1954, which was eventually decommissioned.
