VW - 01M Transmission - Solenoid 4 (N91) Open Circuit - Valve Body Repair
On this video we see a very common issue with Valve Body problems on these Volkswagen 01M Transmissions.
Solenoid problems are also very common as you see here. Depending on the issue or the gear that is not performing properly, will lead you to the right direction for diagnosis and repair.
This was a rare instance where it only needed to be repaired without pulling the transmission out of the vehicle. Normally you will see these unit with 4th clutch damage, burned up. When you see that, the valve body needs to be repaired and also the molded pistons have to be replaced along with the normal overhaul kit and bushings.
