His ideas about the natural world and the human condition have been influential in many fields, including political science.

Thomas Hobbes (1588-1679): Hobbes was an English philosopher who is considered one of the founders of modern political thought. His book Leviathan (1651) is a classic work of political philosophy that explores the nature of the state and the relationship between the individual and the state.

John Locke (1632-1704): Locke was an English philosopher who is considered one of the most important figures in the development of liberalism.
