Peugeot 208 debuted in 2012, and it was recently given a facelift. Peugeot 208 was the model to showcase Peugeot’s new cockpit design with a small steering wheel, and instrument cluster mounted high at the top of the dashboard. And a Polish bloke called Adam Bazydło is responsible for that. Designing the 208 engineers also tried to make the car lighter. The supermini is 7 cm shorter than the 207 it replaces, and on average over a 100 kg lighter. But despite smaller exterior dimensions there is 5 cm more for passengers inside, and the boot is 15 litres bigger - at 285 litres it’s comparable to Toyota Yaris.
This test example is powered by a 1.2 PureTech 110 hp engine.
