Long Beach Poly is home to two of the elite high school female hurdlers in the country, seniors Ebony Crear and Kymber Payne. They are both in the top 10 in California in both the 100 and 300 meter hurdles races, and have both signed SEC scholarships, with Crear headed to Texas A&M and Payne headed to LSU.
