We finally managed to exchange our wedding rings! Despite being married for a few months, we had not had any sort of ceremony. It's one of the difficulties about having an international marriage with families in completely different parts of the world. Normally a wedding ceremony is a huge event with family and friends from both sides coming together to celebrate something special. In our case, so many variables were making a traditional wedding ceremony difficult, so we decided to do things our own special way.
