Again prayers Up for everyone affected by Helene & Milton barreling down on Florida. Have Family and a long - time buddy right in it's path.
Need to replace trailer tires before I take the boat anywhere far; and the river is still muddy and high .Luckily for us , this river is made by the New and Gauley's converging at Kanawha Falls ; & the New starts in N.C. When you have current pumping in the 20,500 per cubic meter range, fish tend to seek shelter in the feeder creek. So I grabbed the only glass spinning rod and my finesse crankbaits and we had some fun!! Gear is the key to this #technique ; & this is a 5 year old Lew's that is great for small plugs and small jerk baits. Patterned the crap out of it with some special guest appearances.
(btw I found a jerk bait in the sand that'd been there?? )
