Natya Tarangini's students perform at the Parampara Series, National Festival of Music & Dance, New Delhi. This years festival's title was "Sampratikam" meaning ' A festival of contemporary trends in Indian classical music & dance.

'Our dance for the future' is a blend of traditional kuchipudi classical dance from Andhra Pradesh, south India and western contemporary music. A perfect example of Sampratikam.
Dance choreography by Padmabhushans Raja & Radha Reddy and music composition by Anindo Bose & Chayan Adhikari (Advaita Band members).

The long awaited Parampara Series National festival of Music and Dance was held in August with an exciting new line up of performances by some of the most creative and accomplished dancers, choreographers and musicians of India.

Organized by 'Natya Tarangini' Raja Radha Reddy Institute of Kuchipudi Dance 'Parampara 2010' was scheduled for August 5th, 6th and 7th at the Kamani auditorium, New Delhi. The title of this year's Parampara is
"Sampratikam".


Under this title Parampara Series explored the creative gamut of dance, in group choreographies through the minds of genius choreographers such as Kumudini Lakhya (Kathak), Gangadhar Pradhan ( Odissi) and Raja Radha Reddy ( Kuchipudi). Matched with an equally exciting music line up there were scintillating duet performances by Pt Vishwa Mohan Bhatt (Mohan veena) & Ronu Majumdar (flute), Ganesh & Kumaresh (violin), Jayanti Kumaresh (Veena) & Gaurav Mazumdar (sitar).


With a concept and line up like never before the festival was a treat to music and dance lovers.
