Shivarpanam

A production in offering of God Shiva, the production starts with Ardhanareeshwara stotram which talks about the opposite energies and forces in nature. Shiva and Shakti, there is no shiva without Shakti and there is no Shakti without Shiva. Establishing the power of Shiva only with Shakti inside him we move forward to Shiva Padam. Shiva Padam depicts the ananda narthanam of God Nataraja.
There are couple of stories stitched into shiva Padam. One such story is the search God shiva by both God brahma and vishnu. God shiva is nowhere to be found, but he is everywhere felt inside us.

The Hindu stories and cultures comprises a lot of Indian philosophy, there is a Philosophy behind this story

The story of brahma and Vishnu searching for the boundaries of shiva linga

From the yogic perspective, Vishnu searching in earth, and brahma searching in sky, these two represent the oppossites, or dualities Earth and sky, one is matter, and the other is space. It also represents the body and mind. Earth as body, and mind as sky. We, each one of us, are searching in the same way. In the shape of the body, and in the space of mind, we look for shiva who is advaya Anandamaya chit gana (non dual blissful mass of consciousness). Now when it comes to hatha yoga, the dualities of earth and sky can be seen in the teachings of ida and pingala. They represent dualties of night and day, moon and sun. But essentially its dualties. And as long as they are alternatingly dominating, we will be caught us in limiting identities. As this or that. But slowly, as we balance these two currents, and search even deeper, then we recognize the middle, the core of sushumna, the maha meru, the axis around which ida, pingala, all the nadis, our nervous system everything spirals and maintains itself. That is verily the linga within us. May we all connect to the limitless, endless core within us. Om namashivaya

Another story is depicted here is the amruthamantana

When the Suras (Gods) and Asuras ( Demons )churned using Vasuki the Asuras got the nectar and Suras got poison, so god shiva drank the poison hence making him the neelakanta.

This production overall in the praise of God Shiva aim at the spread of spirituality and positivity to the viewers.
