By far, apples are the top favorite fruit in our family. They are always on the table and whenever I have the chance, I prepare a much-loved cake from them. I sincerely hope you will like it just as much and I look forward to your reactions in the comments!

Ingredients:
Filling:
2 kg apples approx. 10-12 large apples
100 g sugar
2 packets of vanilla sugar
1/2 tablespoon cinnamon
Juice of one lemon
The resulting mixture, well drained, weighed 950 g.

Dough:
5 eggs
200 g sugar
2 packets of vanilla sugar
a pinch of salt
300 g flour
1 packet of baking powder
180 ml oil
180 ml milk
vanilla essence, rum

powdered sugar for decoration
