How to reach there:

From Mumbai -
Mumbai to Nashik - 166 Kms, Travel time - 3 to 4 hrs | Trains and Buses are avaiable widely | Cost - Rs. 200 to 500.
Nashik to Trimbakeshwar - 29 kms, Travel time - 40 mins | Buses available for every 30 mins to 1 hour and also private Taxi's | Rs. 40 to 100.

Trimbakeshwar to Gangadhwar (Godavari birth point) -
By walk - 750 steps
By Auto or private transport - Upto 650 steps. Auto will charge 400 rupess.

Accomodation:

Nashik - Rs. 600 to upto your wish (Nashik has star holtels too)
Trimbakeshwar - Rs. 500 to 2000.
Igatpuri - Rs. 500 to 1500.
