After I made my first three videos I ended up not posting for a while, about a month or two; because I got stuck editing a video I didn't really love. In the beginning of any new venture, in this case YouTube for me, it is extra challenging to create because there is so much to learn, including how to feel confident and relaxed filming (which is a huge one for me).
Like everyone I have insecurities, and creating content definitely trigger them for me, and my automatic response is to become more critical and perfectionistic because I believe that is the only way I will be appreciated and accepted. However, I'm choosing to let go of my perfectionism because it is truly only holding me back and making the creation process more frustrating.
