We wanted to create a series of photos that we had never seen before in that way and so we invested a lot of time and effort into research, preparation and planning to make this happen.

The story behind the photo was related to space exploration, that an astronaut touches the mars for the first time and of course related to wakeboarding.

The picture should look like that the wakeboarder flies over Mars in an astronaut costume and then makes the One Foot trick and touches Mars with one foot. Several LED strips were attached to the board so that you can create a beautiful light curtain with a long exposure of 3 seconds. And then there were 3 big flashes that freezes the action when the rider touches the ball.
