Humor and laughter can serve as powerful tools for social protest. Even during the Joseon Dynasty, regular people used satire and laughter to make their voices heard through stories and mask dance. In 21st-century Korea, however, it seems there's no room for political satire and humor. If even satire and humor are not allowed, society can be unhealthy. Laughter, a way of living happily in this world, will continue to change our lives little by little.
