After we checked out of Old Rock Beach Resort, we decided to visit other popular tourist attractions of Bolinao. We drove on Patar Rd until we reached Cape Bolinao Lighthouse - The second-highest lighthouse in the Philippines, next to the Cape Bojeador Lighthouse, which stands 30.78 meters (101.0 ft). After the historic visit, we had our lunch at Sungayan Grill, a local favorite that serves their specialty - the mythical Sungayan fish ( Unicorn Fish ), a bit on the pricey side. Still, you may not be able to get a taste of it except in the Bolinao area. So if you can, you should or may never get the chance to enjoy it again. Imagine being swayed by the Balingasay River on the boat restaurant while jamming to the tune of nostalgic 80s and 90s classics... just pure bliss. I almost lost my voice doing my best backup singer impression, I had so much fun I tipped the band twice.
