I was gifted a beautiful brisket purchased from CreamCo Meats in Oakland which sources it from the same place that Franklin's BBQ gets theirs (Creekstone Farms). I went Central Texas style with it and seasoned it with salt and pepper, threw it on the Oklahoma Joe's Highland offset and used post oak wood for the fire. I also covered the butcher paper with beef tallow for good measure. The brisket was really tender and flavorful!

So why the Krispy Kreme sandwich? A good friend of mine is addicted to Krispy Kreme doughnuts and wanted to try it. We were all curious to see if it would work and to our surprise... it does!
