4 Reasons why you SHOULD become a real estate agent in 2020.

#1 - No Boss / No 9-5 job. This is by far one of the biggest reasons I hear all the time from why people want to become a realtor. Unfortunately there is a little bit more than meets the eye and you will most likely work more than 8-10 hours a day in the beginning. However it won't feel like work if you stay hungry and focused on the correct goals.

#2 - Self Employed + Tax write-offs. After becoming licensed, you will become a real estate professional in the eyes of the IR and the S (IRS for short). This will allow you to deduct more expenses along with other basic small business write-offs to save you money.

#3 - You get paid to buy property. If you become a real estate agent, you are allowed to get paid a commission for buying property on the market. You can use that commission to cover your closing costs, portion of your down payment, or just pocket the money for renovations or a nice vacation. (:

#4 - Develop Incredible Skills + Meet Incredible People. Becoming a real estate agent means you will be running a small business. You will need to learn marketing, finance, professionalism, sales, customer service, and how to work with other agents (even if you don't like em!)
