Thank you to those who subscribed to my "1948 Chevy Guy" channel. I hope the few videos I made were helpful. Unfortunately, I had to part with my Chevy but I will occasionally make a video or two when I find a subject that might be helpful. I hope converting my Costco lanterns will interest some of you and perhaps save you a few buck in the process. The lanterns are fine, it's just the crappy 12 volts LED drivers that ruin them. With the lightbulb conversion, a good cleaning, a couple coats of wax, these lanterns will last a long time.
Thank you for watching

Some of you requested a list of parts. The list is short and all items can be found at any hardware store or on Amazon. You will need light bulb base with wires, threaded small rods with retaining nuts,
120 volts light bulbs, wattage is up to you, I used 60 watts LED. and a drill bit to drill a hole in the plate. You will also need Wire nuts or butt connectors to secure the wires... You will also need to replace the 12 volt sensor with a 120 volts should you decide to keep the sensor feature/
