Rats and mice are able to carry the rabies virus in their bodies, however they have not been shown to be infected with rabies in wild populations. Furthermore, the average incubation period in cats is two months, but can range from 2 weeks to several months or even years, depending on the dose of virus transmitted and the severity and site of the wound (Charlton et al., 1997; Jackson, 2002). #ميكروبيولوجي #Immunology #sherifmicro #drmohamedsheriflectures
