PETROMAX camping oven - the big product test & field report by 4 REIFEN 1 KLO!

I have been testing the Petromax camping oven for a year now. Unlike the Omnia oven, the Petromax camping oven is made entirely of stainless steel.

There are not only differences in the material between the two camping ovens, but also many others, which I present in the video:
- Size
- Accessories
- Application

Thanks to my many years of experience with the Omnia camping oven, I was able to draw a very good comparison. In addition, this experience report was not written in just a few uses, but took over 12 months. In this product test I will
- casseroles
- cakes
- Baking bread rolls
test and show.

In the meantime, Petromax has brought out accessories for the camping oven, which I will also briefly present.

I would like to point out that I was not asked by the manufacturer (Petromax) to carry out this product test. The products were not made available to me free of charge, but I purchased everything myself. Petromax had no influence on my experience, but it is my personal opinion of the product(s).

This experience report was created because I have already reported a lot about the Omnia Oven and therefore thought it was right to test a new camping oven on my experience with the Omnia Oven.

And of course our cookbooks/recipes are also suitable for the PETROMAX camping oven. However, you should note that the preparation time is extended by 15-20 minutes. This is due to the material, as stainless steel takes longer to reach the required temperature, and also because of the recommended simmer plate, which also "absorbs" heat from the stove.
