According to Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Chairman Prospero de Vera III, the Supreme Court's ruling in favor of the CHED Memorandum Order 20 or the proposal to exclude Filipino and Panitikan in the General Education Curriculum (GEC) of higher education institutions is "decisive and timely."
