Our Vancouver Island is coming to an end! It’s a bitter sweet feeling. One day we were just in the northenmost tip of the island and now we are back in Victoria. But of course before that, we made a couple of stops along the way. We visited the beautiful surfing town of Tofino and did a couple of hikes around there. The rain didn’t stop us from visiting the Rainforest trail and Cathedral Grove.
On our very last day, we spent it in Sombrio Beach and found the hidden waterfalls that by the way was truly hidden and majestic. The Sooke Potholes will be a very good spot to go swimming in the warmer days. We didn’t get a chance to swim because of the rain.

Indeed, lots of driving, camping and hiking in the first week of our Canada trip. Stay tuned for part 2, as we show you the beauty of the British Columbia in the mainland, talking about Banff, Jasper, Vancouver, Squamish and more.
