The timing of the Mahābhārata war provides the sheet anchor for the history of Hindu civilization. The Mahābhārata text has 300+ astronomy evidence which describes the ancient sky of Mahābhārata war time. Nilesh Oak has analyzed this evidence using modern astronomy & tested it via scientific method and logical reasoning. The evidence points to Mahābhārata war occurring in 5561 BCE; more than 7500 years ago. He analyzes & critiques alternate claims using the logic of scientific discovery. It makes for an illuminating & fascinating exploration of Mahabharata historicity and Indian astronomy with far-reaching consequences for the present and the future.

Nilesh Nilkanth Oak is an author with two critically acclaimed books: When did
the Mahābhārata War Happen?, and The Historic Rama. He holds MS in Chemical
engineering and executive MBA with 20+ years of corporate experience. He
researches in ancient Indian history using multidisciplinary evidence. Nilesh is an
adjunct professor at Institute of Advanced Sciences, Dartmouth, USA.
