my thoughts:
these vms don't change much but there's still an obvious difference! open is a lot airier, while closed seems almost like a dark mode... resonant changes her pronunciation a lot (makes her nasally)
however unlike other vocals, her default tone is still very strong throughout her range!

overall: she's made for a very very specific genre of songs. i personally would not buy her, but that's only because i don't really make/cover beijing opera songs. if you're looking for a more versatile vocaloid, i highly recommend feng yi. however i do appreciate DT's attempts to digitalize/preserve such an ancient art form, especially given its importance to china and its dwindling relevance in modern society.
