Every years locals and visitors from all over the country look forward to Pensacola’s biggest event of the year, the Red, White, and Blues Pensacola Beach Airshow. The show highlights Pensacola’s hometown hero’s, The Blue Angels. Throughout the week leading up to the airshow, the Blues hold several practices along the beach.

If you’re looking at attending the famous airshow in the future, we recommend you plan early, save as much as you can, mentally prepare, and don’t forget to hydrate. Many people start planning their next trip to Pensacola as soon as the event is over, including vacation rentals, restaurants, and event planners.

Since we do not live far from Pensacola Beach, we opted on driving there around 10 am but it was only because we had prepaid for a parking spot at the Salty Rose. The prices for parking range, it depends on what day you go. We paid $200 on the day of the airshow but it included an appetizer and 2 beverages. We liked the place we picked because it was close to the pier and when it got too hot outside, we were able to walk into the restaurant and cool off.

The show this year was delayed but it normally starts at noon with civilian performances followed by the Blue Angels at 2 pm.

This has been one of our favorite activities for the summer thus far.
